    Reaffirmed the organization’s accreditation as a Health Information Service Provider (HISP), Certificate Authority (CA) and Registration Authority (RA) by the Electronic Healthcare Network Accreditation Commission (EHNAC) and Direct Trusted Agent Accreditation Program (DTAAP).

    Joined SHIEC as a strategic, business and technology member.

    Introduced the Clinical Gateway to automate the flow of information exchanged through payer, HIE and registry organizations.

    MaxMD app was approve by CMS as a Blue Button app.

    Signed the CARIN Alliance Code of Conduct pledging to uphold principles and practices that foster the trust, privacy and security needed to create the framework needed to advance consumer-directed exchange.

  • 2019

    Introduced of MaxAlerts to enable hospitals and critical care centers to distribute admission, discharge and transfer notifications to a patient’s primary care provider or other care team members.

    Launched MaxAlerts in Carlton County, Missouri.

    Developed FHIR-based National Advance Directives Directory for AD Vault, Inc.

    Provide Direct services to Drummond to support interoperability testing programs.

    Introduced the MaxMD mobile app to empower consumers to access and control their health information.

    Became an HL7 Gold Member.

    Participated in three FHIR™ Connectathons- demonstrating Direct to FHIR™ End Points.

    Co-Author a white paper on Direct to FHIR™ with Grahame Grieve and DirectTrust.

    Deployed Carlton County Event Notification Service under 90/10 grant.

    Selected by ONC to provide Direct Services to CDA testing tool.

  • 2015

    MaxMD joins New Jersey Innovation Institute (NJII) to create solutions that take advantage of Medicaid reimbursement plans using Direct Protocol, MaxIntegration™, and MaxSignatures to push and pull information from State Registry. This is a joint venture between NJII and JP Morgan Chase.

    MaxMD is selected by AT&T and State of Tennessee to provide Direct Services to Tennessee government agencies.

    EHNAC reaffirmed the accreditation of MaxMD as a Health Information Service Provider (HISP), Certificate Authority (CA) and Registration Authority (RA) by the Electronic Healthcare Network Accreditation Commission (EHNAC) and Direct Trusted Agent Accreditation Program (DTAAP).

  • 2014

    MaxMD is awarded grant from the Pennsylvania eHealth Partnership Authority to collect, translate, and re-format raw data from a Laboratory Information System and transport via Direct to various EMRs.

    MaxMD CTO is appointed as a Foundation Member of the DirectTrust Policy Committee.

    MaxMD is appointed as Co-Chair to the DirectTexting Workgroup.

    MaxMD is awarded Certificate of Authority by the Minnesota Department of Health to operate as a Health Data Intermediary.

    MaxMD’s Hosted Direct mdEmail® Version 3.0 is certified by the ONC for 170.314(b)(2), 170.314(g)(1), and 170.314(g)(2).

  • 2013

    MaxMD becomes one of the first three companies accredited as a Health Information Service Provider (HISP), Certificate Authority (CA) and Registration Authority (RA) by the Electronic Healthcare Network Accreditation Commission (EHNAC) and Direct Trusted Agent Accreditation Program (DTAAP).

    MaxMD is among the first companies accepted into the DirectTrust Anchor Trust Bundle allowing for secure exchange of data.

    MaxMD is selected as a Preferred HISP by States of Tennessee and Pennsylvania.

    MaxMD is selected by competitive RFP as sole HISP for New Jersey and Connecticut RECs.

  • 2011

    MaxMD is selected by the Rhode Island Quality Institute (RIQI) as a Preferred HISP for the nation’s first Direct Protocol pilot project.

  • 2010

    MaxMD leadership contributed to the development of the Direct Protocol which was established by the Federal Government as a part of the Nationwide Health Information Network (NwHIN).
